the first year i went to pax (the weekend of eotn beta) i asked about that area after seeing the other areas ie the asuren home lands and the rest of the charr areas and i asked about the other areas and my reply was "we made the map so huge just incase we need to do another expatiation or something of that nature." thats not saying they will do anything with it just saying that its there and they put there just incase.

Yea I was a bit disappointed when the actual EotN map was shown. The first expansion of the map got me believing that this expansion pack would have a lot in it, but no. The NW portion isnt used.

More or less it's nothing. We can speculate that it's Orr, but then again how do we explain the Orrian undead in the Shards of Orr dungeon way far south of the map? I say it's one of the inhabitable natural areas of the world. Just like that vast mountain range way north of Denravi Jungles in the map and the huge forested jungle to the west of the frozen mountains on top of the map. As far as I know, they are just natural wonders that man has not explored, or even settled in for that matter.
